1965 Olivetti Lettera 32

Olivetti Lettera 32

Every once in a while I come across a machine that just floors me. My friend Cybil found me this sweet Olivetti Lettera 32 at a thrift store for only $15. It was designed by Marcello Nizzoli for Olivetti in 1963 as the successor of the popular Olivetti Lettera 22. It was very popular with journalists and students because of it’s lightweight, and very low profile. I can’t believe it still has the original information card. This is so cool. Made in Italy! Typing on it is very close to how typing on laptops feel. The keys are considerably flat, and level. You can practically hold this machine with one hand.
